Well, it looks like the Carbon Tax legislation is going to pass. It’s not perfect by a long shot, but at least it’s something.

Its a small step toward factoring in the primary reality of ‘ecological services’ into our economy instead of blindly treating the living biosphere as given “externalities” to be exploited.
