Plug in brand-new hot wire cutter.
Holding down trigger makes wire slightly warm.
Laboriously take apart.
Laboriously put back together.
Hold down trigger.
Wait for wire to warm up.
Glance at wire.
Double take at GLOWING RED HOT WIRE 😱😱😱

Six seconds later every RSD in the block went WTF ???? and tripped out for Easter….
Happily no. However having previously only been familiar with battery powered versions the heat output of a mains connected hot wire cutter is quite startling!
